Forest Park School is a very special place which provides for children aged 2-19 with moderate, severe and profound learning difficulties. The school is based on two sites, one mile apart. We have a team of dedicated, talented and skilled professionals who provide a child centered approach which is flexible and responsive to individual needs. We promote a happy, supportive and positive learning environment.

KIDS run a variety of clubs based at Forest Park Primary School. All clubs are for ages 4 to 19 years who have a gateway card.

 

After School Club

We offer a relaxing, but fun space for young people to socialise with friends after their busy day in school.

 

Who is it for? Young people with disabilities aged 4-19 years.

 

When are the sessions? Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays straight from school until 17.45 (Term Time only- please note that there are some term time weeks we do not run- you would be made aware of these)

 

What do we do? The club offers such enjoyable activities as cooking, sports, art and crafts.

 

KIDS staff team adapt activities so that all the children attending have a great time, can achieve and have loads of fun.

Saturday Fun Club

Saturday Fun Clubs are a great and fun way to kick off the weekend with fun and stimulating activities.

 

Who is it for? Young people with disabilities aged 4-19 years.

 

When are the sessions? We run 21 Saturdays across the year with a mixture of trips on staying onsite. Times are 10-2pm 

 

Activities: The young people have an interesting and active environment to socialise with peers and have fun. The facilities on offer are excellent and fully accessible including a soft play room, music room, food tech, quiet room and large outside space.

Holiday Play Schemes

Young people always have a fabulous time, making friends, being creative and playing the whole day long!

 

Who is it for? Young people with disabilities aged 4-19 years.

 

When are the sessions? We run something in every holiday except May half term.

 

Activities: We offer action packed holiday provisions that offer something for everyone.

 •Stimulating days in with lots to do and some interesting workshops to choose from.

 •We also do a number of fun and exciting days out – we have been to the accessible cycling in the New Forest, Legoland, and QE2 centre to name a few.

 

KIDS also offers 1:1 short breaks such as the buddy scheme.
