Forest Park School is a very special place which provides for children aged 2-19 with moderate, severe and profound learning difficulties. The school is based on two sites, one mile apart. We have a team of dedicated, talented and skilled professionals who provide a child centered approach which is flexible and responsive to individual needs. We promote a happy, supportive and positive learning environment.

We have been allocated £3,500 for this financial year to spend on specific sports developments as identified by the DfE.

To enable year 6 students on the school residential to participate in a range of outdoor physical activities.



Increased level of skills related to particular activities. Positive impact seen in classroom of team building skills.

80% of year 6 involved in residential including PMLD pupils.



To provide additional staff so that all sports competitions attended can be fully inclusive.

£1,000 casual staff budget


Greater community awareness for pupils. Improved standards of participation and engagement.

To provide outdoor play and activity spaces for all primary pupils 


Increased provision of safe outdoor PE and general physical well-being through greater amounts of exercise.

Pupil engagement in PE has improved.

To ensure that all key stage 2 pupils access a block of outdoor and adventure activities during the year.

£1,000 dedicated to Activities Week in Summer 2017

Increased engagement in a range of activities has meant that pupils have improved their range of skills, and have achieved more personal IEP targets for independence.
